Many
professions require their members
to go through some sort of internship process to prepare them for what
the job entails. Doctors, lawyers, and even professional athletes all
go through some form or preparation to enable them to perform their
jobs at the highest possible level. This essentially allows the people
in these professions to learn while doing in an environment where
making a mistake won't be too costly.
Another
reason for doing this is that
